Terms & Conditions of Sale

                                                                            

1.0 Placing an order

1.1 You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process, you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the product/s you have ordered.

                                                 

1.2 Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. We will send you a despatch confirmation email. When we despatch the order, the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

                                                     

1.3 We may refuse to accept an order

          a) Where goods are not available

          b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment

          c) If there has been a pricing or product description error

                                                             

2.0 Pricing

2.1 Our prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. The current VAT rate is 20%.

                                                                      

2.2 Orders are accepted only on the basis that the actual price payable under the contract shall be the sellers price ruling at the date of the invoice. We reserve the right to change our prices and no refunds will be given to those already purchased should we decide to change our prices.

                                                     

3.0 Delivery

3.1 We deliver to UK mainland addresses only and our maximum delivery lead time is 14 working days from order placement. Our standard delivery lead times are usually well within this time frame and you will be advised of our intended delivery date soon after order placement.  Our fitting service is only available to the North East area of England.

                                               

4.0 Cancellations and Returns

4.1 If you wish to cancel your order:

          a) You can notify us by email at info@sfshomeassist.co.uk before we have despatched the goods to you.

          b) Where goods have already been despatched to you, you must return your goods within 7 days of receipt. The cost of returning

               goods to us shall be borne by you. The cost of carriage will not be refunded.

                                               

4.2 Customers may only return products to SFS Home Assist Ltd to receive a refund or replacement product on the following conditions:

          a) Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging, and in a condition, which will enable them to be immediately

               fit for re-sale.

          b) Products can be returned due to customer error or if the product is no longer required within 7 days of receipt but prior consent

               must be obtained from SFS Home Assist in writing.

                                                             

4.3 The rights to return the product/s will not apply in the following circumstances:

          a) Where the product has been used

          b) Where the packaging has been opened or tampered with

                                                 

4.4 Customers must return all parts within 7 days of receipt to SFS Home Assist, 19a East Street, Whitburn, SR6 7BY. All products sent back to SFS Home Assist are the property of the customer until SFS Home Assist received the product/s back. We strongly recommend product/s that are returned are covered by insurance in the case of loss.
